G.O’S MESSAGE:

Good morning, beloved of The New Life Miracle Church! In our ever-changing world, we face numerous challenges that can shake our faith. Today, we will explore how to maintain steadfast faith even when everything around us seems unstable.

In Mark 9:24, we encounter a poignant moment where a desperate father brings his afflicted son to Jesus. After the disciples fail to heal the boy, the father turns to Jesus and says, “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” This raw, honest plea reflects the tension many of us feel – a mixture of faith and doubt.

This father’s cry is something we can all relate to. Life’s uncertainties, be it personal struggles, societal upheavals, or global crises, often test our faith. Yet, Jesus responds to such honesty. He acknowledges our human frailty and meets us at our point of need.

Consider the story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). Peter’s initial faith enabled him to step out of the boat, but as he focused on the storm around him, he began to sink. Jesus immediately reached out and saved him, illustrating that even when our faith falters, His grace is sufficient to uphold us.

The key to steadfast faith lies in where we direct our focus. Hebrews 12:2 encourages us to look unto Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith.” When we fix our eyes on Him rather than the turmoil around us, our faith is fortified.

Additionally, the community of believers plays a vital role. In Hebrews 10:24-25, we are urged to “consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.” Encouragement from fellow believers strengthens our faith and helps us remain steadfast.

Acknowledge Your Doubts: Bring your doubts to God in prayer. Honest communication with Him is the first step towards stronger faith.

Focus on Jesus: In the midst of life’s storms, keep your eyes on Jesus. Meditate on His promises and His faithfulness.

Stay Connected: Engage with your church community. Fellowship and shared faith experiences provide support and encouragement.

Practice Faith: Take steps of faith, even if they seem small. Trust God in everyday situations and watch how your faith grows.

In a shaky world, our faith can remain steadfast when anchored in Jesus. He understands our struggles and meets us with grace. As we focus on Him and support one another, our faith will stand firm, no matter what challenges come our way.

Prayer Points

Lord, help me to trust You even when my faith feels weak.

Father, strengthen my faith and help me to keep my eyes on Jesus.

Holy Spirit, guide me to be an encouragement to others in their faith journey.

Jesus, grant me the courage to step out in faith, trusting in Your unfailing promises.

Call to Salvation:

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, today is the day to do so. Pray with me: “Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. I ask for Your forgiveness and invite You into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Strengthen my faith and help me to trust You in all circumstances. Amen.”

Join us at The New Life Miracle Church as we strengthen our faith together and navigate the uncertainties of life with the assurance of God’s unchanging love. May your faith remain steadfast, rooted in the solid foundation of Christ. Amen.
